Where in the World am I??!

London, Ontario! London is a city situated in the Western part of Ontario, Canada with a population of about 430,000 people. The city is situated half way between Toronto and Detroit. Here are a few things about the town of which I was born, raised, and currently living:

We like to skate and admire Christmas lights in the snow in Victoria Park

Birthplace of Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling

Birthplace of Insulin – first discovered by Londoner Frederick Banting

We enjoy being active in Springbank Park while being surrounded by hundreds of Canadian Geese

We like to eat ribs at our annual Rib Fest

We are named the “Forest City” because of our abundance in trees

We appreciate art

We like water works

We love university. (My school)

And that’s my town in a nutshell! In case you were wondering. The tinier London of the London’s. It is a pretty city as you can see, but gets really cold in the winter. Today’s snowy day for example, we are sitting at – 25 degrees Celsius as I cradle my second cup of hot coco.
